Quick Release Harness

Handles set up for attachment to the quick-release. Note the pulley that has a 25mm stainless steel ring attached to ensure that when you pull the release, the handles are released cleanly.

Kite Killers

Kite-killers are attached to the brake lines so that when you release the handles, the brakes are applied fully. This effectively depowers the kite to a reasonable level, at the cost of having an uncontrollable flapping beast at the other end.
